AH finally finished a book!

Yes. I finally finished a book today. I have been reading The last Vampire by Christopher Pike. At only 193 pags it has taken me awhile. A month and a bit to be exact. It's definitly not because I am a slow reader but because I have only made time to read it when I am not busy getting ready for work or sharing the few moments of time between sleeping and working with friends and family. It was definitly an enjoyable read and I will try to find the next 4 books somewhere in my bins of stuff in the basement.

I am glad that I have finished the book because it is an accomplishment in itself. Although it would take me just one sitting of a few hours to have finished it usually. It's been awhile since I've read and I like the fact that I at least enjoyed the last third of the story in one final dose today. I mean it definitly is worth reading if you like these kinds of stories.

I mean I can think of a bunch of other books to read off the top of my head that I would love to read again even if I've read them 4 or 5 times already.

haha oh yeah and another book I am reading is called The Panther and The Pyramid by Bonnie Vanak... Now to tell you how I picked up this book. I was at Zellers and found the 4.99 best sellers book rack... Now I saw this read the spine that tells you what kind of book it is. I thought it said Leisure Historical suspense. I was in a hurry as I had to get to work which is right across the street from Zellers. Well when I got a chance to finally start reading it I realized that it actually said Leisure Historical Romance... no wonder all the books on the rack actually looked kind of romance-like but hey the front cover of this one didn't really hint it was going to be that type of book at all... Well I guess that's what happens when you're in a hurry. I definitly will read it all the way through...eventually...

Though I am probably bound to start another book or two, maybe even three if I get started into reading again majorly. It wasn't unusual for me to have 1-4 books on the go at any given time.

Haha kinda sounds like my writing as well... Is that a lack of focus or just widening my interests too much because they are usually never really the same type of stories..

Well let's see. I'm going to choose a story and stick with it. I just wonder if I should start this one from scratch or build upon one I've already had on the go?

Well till next time... hopefully sometime soon I will figure that one out and do it within the moments that are not spent on school, friends, boyfriend and family between the moments of sleep and work. :D

Let's hope so! I've got a many ideas to write about! :D

here goes something.

I know that at my age of 23 that I will never become the most flexible bendable person in the entire world but I do know that I would also like to be more fit and do something fun. I am thinking about looking into some kind of dance class because it would be nice to maybe be able to look forward to my days ahead where I am not so work work work work. It's taken over my mind already... but at least it will pay my share of the bills and possibly some of my small debt I collected while being jobless. I mean I know I definitly have to make sure I get out of debt...

So maybe dance class may be out of the question for the moment but maybe there are some aerobics or dance dvds out there I can check out to get myself started.

Oh yeah... If anyone has any ideas on either what to check out for dvd wise or advice on getting out of debt I would most certainly appreciate the advice.. I will even take advice on how to stay more positive in a job that has pretty much swept my life into a tiny pile and made it stay in that certain way...

I know this weekend will be filled with some excitement as my boyfriend and I are going to a coworker's birthday and my parents have asked us over for supper... I also know that tommorrow I will be going out for coffee with my father at some point or other before work so it will be nice.

I am also thinking that maybe no one is reading this or if they are... they are asking themselves why they are reading it!

Just a thought... maybe I'm right and no one really is reading this... but hey this is just a place for me to reach out I guess in a small way.

Gah! venting out.

Stupid next door neighbors! Gah! Not only do they burn shit that they are not supposed to be burning a few too many times but one of their three dogs runs rampant around the streets alot of the times.

I was going to go to the corner store and I was at the end of the driveway when I turned so that I could put my purse inside and just bring my debit card and ID just in case I wanted to get a scratch ticket (Not that I was really thinking of getting one. When I was coming back I had this funny feeling and the dog was running at me but stopped as soon as it knew I had seen it and started barking at me instead.

I have been attacked by a dog before. Don't think that I hate dogs. There are people I know who own dogs and I think their dogs are great and I love them alot.

My andrenaline is pumping and I really feel like yelling at them for not keeping their dog in check but I don't think anyone is home. I feel sorry for the dog being outside in the snow like this..

TODAY'S CRAFTS! :D

I was in a crafty mood this morning when I woke up and got a few things done. I had alot of fun doing these crafts and am excited to the possibilities that will pop up because they are boundless, at least for now. I've also browsed alot of pages on the web that are about different crafts. It is inspiration nonetheless to get me going again on things that I both enjoy and well I want to start reusing as well as reducing wasteage. It seems to be some kind of trend going on and no I don't think I am following it because others are doing it. I just want to create and I have so many different ideas in my head that just want to come out of me!

So here we go with my first project that I did today. I took two cylinder containers that used to hold some chocolate candies until they were eaten. yummy! and turned them into these

The lids were turned into magnets.

After that I took a cardboard box that used to hold icecream cones in it and cut and paste some pictures out of a magazine or two that I have kicking around collecting dust and thought I should put them to good use if they are not being read at all.

Finally snagged a job! YEAH!

Well I had a few more interviews after the last time I posted and finally snagged myself a job. I am very glad about that! I am intrigued as to how things will be. I just have to wait until I get called to set up a time for when I come back in for training now! I am fairly glad about that! I cannot wait to start. It is at a call centre so I guess I will find out if I am cut for the job but I am thinking that I may not be so bad at it after all either. Well I don't really have much to blog about at the moment.

Happy reading!

Or blogging. Whichever you prefer!
