Don't get me wrong but today is just one of those days that I am just chilling out and listening to some music. It's kind of one of those bleak cloudy days where you are pretty sure it's going to rain sometime soon and you just hope that it finally does. Was hoping for a much brighter day, maybe even go swimming or a nice long walk along the waterfront even. Though I have dishes and clean up to do today as well... Yes not a very exciting or epic day at all.
I am not really too sure why it is that I am writing on my blog at all today but at least it is a little something, even if it is not much... Well I cannot believe how frequent my blogging has been in the past. I never really thought I would turn to this as much as I have. It is a still fairly new outlet for me at the moment.
My crafting area is under construction. I haven't done too much in that department. Maybe I should put up that extra shelf I had gotten quite a few weeks back so I can put up some trinkets on there. I should probably fill the organizers as well with all the little things I have.
Yes lately procrastination seems to be my best friend. I'm pretty sure I would rather not have it that way. Guess I better get my butt in gear and get something done today. For today that is my goal: Put up the shelf and organize somewhat in that area of mine. :D
At least it is a little something!

I PRAY

I PRAY
By PENNY ANNE FAIRMAN
I weep because you're gone
I pray that it never happens again
This sad loneliness you had to face
Tears not of joy but of pain
Of losing hope, brought down
By a force of mankind; abuse
I tremble in thoughts of this
Of losing someone dear
Because a man didn't care
Instead they beat her down
With words worse than spears
She was forced to face alone
Because fear made her sway
Losing hope of a better day
I hope her child does not witness
This insanity of her choice
I hope they finally take action
Long before this ever happens
Maybe even if I glimpse this myself
So that I may help her even if not much at all
Because she is a friend so dear
I pray she doesn't become the statistic...
